The University community was blessed today during Thursday Chapel Service as the School of Health Sciences, led by the Nursing Department, took charge of the service. The service provided an opportunity for students and staff to gather in fellowship, worship God, and receive encouragement from his Word.

The guest speaker for the day was Mr. Jackson Mosonik one of the faculty members. He is also the Principal of Tenwek Hospital College, who shared a powerful message on the theme of holiness and Christian living.

In his sharing, Mr. Mosonik reminded the congregation that holiness is God’s calling for every believer. He emphasized that holiness is not merely about outward actions but about living a life that reflects the character of Jesus Christ. He encouraged the congregation to remain firmly rooted in Christ, noting that a life of holiness begins with a personal relationship with God.

He further challenged students and staff to be intentional in studying and obeying God’s Word, which provides direction and guidance for everyday life. He highlighted the importance of depending on the Holy Spirit, encouraging believers to surrender fully to Jesus and allow Him to shape their thoughts, decisions, and actions.

The speaker also urged the congregation to guard their minds and carefully consider the choices they make. He reminded them that avoiding situations that lead to compromise is essential for maintaining a strong and faithful walk with God.

He concluded by encouraging everyone to remain connected to Christ and to be example of His love and truth through their words, actions, and attitudes. He called upon the University community to pursue peace and holiness, living lives that honor God and positively impact those around them.

The chapel service served as a timely reminder that while students prepare for careers in healthcare and service to humanity, they are equally called to grow spiritually and reflect Christ in every aspect of their lives. The message left the congregation inspired to deepen their relationship with God and to pursue a life of faith, integrity, and holiness.
