We were truly honored to welcome Rev. Charles Obara, Senior Pastor of Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM) Thika Road, who ministered to us at the start of our Revival Emphasis Week.

What a powerful and timely way to begin this special week! Drawing from Hosea 6:2, he laid a strong foundation by explaining what revival truly means. Revival is not merely an emotional moment or temporary spiritual excitement; it is a divine awakening that calls us back to God.

Rev. Obara reminded us that repentance is only the first step. True repentance must be followed by a genuine return to the Lord. It is not enough to feel convicted; we must intentionally turn back to God.

He challenged us to return to a life set apart for God, embracing holiness and renewed commitment. He emphasized the importance of acknowledging God in all that we do, reminding us that His promises are sure and Amen. When we wholeheartedly return to Him, we can stand confidently on the assurance that He is faithful to fulfill His Word.

The service was graced by the presence of the University Community, led by our Vice Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Kiplangat. We were also honored to host the Chepkutung Area Director, Rev. Benjamin Laboso, and Dr. Gladys, who expressed their sincere appreciation for the impactful work carried out during the Kilifi Mission.

As we continue through this Revival Emphasis Week, may our hearts remain open and responsive. May this be more than just a program, but a true season of renewal; a time of turning back to God and walking fully in His will.
