This semester, our various schools and departments in the university have been leading us in our chapel services, providing a wonderful opportunity for students and staff to use their gifts and minister to the university community. Today, we were blessed as the KHU SDA Team lead us in worship during our Thursday chapel service.
The speaker was a Abednego Bii second-year student from the School of Computing and Information Science pursuing Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Sharing from Galatians 2:20 on the topic, “No Longer I, But Christ” he delivered a timely message that challenged and encouraged the congregation.
He reminded us that holiness is not something we can manufacture through human effort. It is a life that we receive through Christ. When Christ lives in us, holiness becomes the natural expression of His presence and work in our lives. He further encouraged that true transformation does not begin with outward actions but with an inward surrender to God.
The message was a powerful reminder that the Christian life is one of daily surrender. As we yield ourselves to Christ, He shapes our character, directs our steps, and enables us to live lives that honour Him.
May we continually allow Christ to take His rightful place in our hearts so that, in our words and actions, it may truly be said: No longer I, but Christ.
