Walking in the Power of the Holy Spirit

second day of revival emphasis week (1)

We continue to thank God for the powerful and enriching ministry through his servant, Rev. Charles Obara, who ministered to us during our second day of Revival Emphasis Week on the subject ‘The Ministry of the Holy Spirit’

He emphasized that the true difference between a Christian and the world is the active presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit in the believer’s life. Christianity is not merely participation in church activities, but a supernatural transformation brought about through salvation, a free gift from God made possible through the Holy Spirit.

Drawing lessons from the life of Jesus Christ, we were reminded that the Holy Spirit played a central role in His ministry, leading Him even before His public work began and empowering Him throughout His mission. In the same way, the Holy Spirit continues to guide, sanctify, and strengthen believers today.

The Holy Spirit gives new life, consecrates believers for God’s purpose, grants victory over the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:16), and remains our constant companion as promised in John 14:16. Through His presence, believers are able to remain joyful and steadfast even in difficult seasons, overcoming pressure, temptation, and challenges.

He also reminded us that true worship and adoration flow from hearts inspired by the Holy Spirit. The session concluded with an encouragement to continually yield to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives, allowing Him to lead us into victorious Christian living.
