The university community once again came together for a time of worship, fellowship, and spiritual nourishment during today’s Tuesday chapel service. The gathering served as a reminder of the vital role chapel plays in strengthening faith, nurturing Godly character, and encouraging purposeful Christian living within the university fraternity.
Our speaker, Rev. Dr. John Kitur, Registrar Academic Affairs, delivered a powerful sermon based on 1 Thessalonians 4:3–8. Centering his message on holiness and obedience to God, he challenged the congregation to live lives that truly reflect God’s nature and calling.
He emphasized that holiness is God’s will for every believer and encouraged congregation to remain discipline in both thought and conduct. He reminded the congregation that believers are called to guard themselves against influences and practices that lead away from Godly living, noting that living contrary to God’s standards ultimately means rejecting His instruction.
In his message, he further encouraged the university fraternity to intentionally pursue spiritual growth through self-examination, accountability, and Godly mentorship. He urged everyone to establish personal boundaries that support righteous living and help them remain faithful in their Christian walk.
The chapel service concluded with renewed commitment among students and staff to uphold biblical values and reflect Christ faithfully within and beyond the university community.
