Our university community led by our Vice Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Kiplangat, was deeply blessed during our Thursday Chapel service. Our speaker Pst. Catherine Langat, a parent to one of our students, delivered a timely and Spirit-filled message centered on Isaiah 40:31. Her teaching reminded us that revival is not merely an emotional experience,it is a divine renewal that restores our strength, rekindles our passion, and brings vibrancy back to our spiritual lives.
Drawing from Scripture, she encouraged us to reflect on areas where we may have drifted into unproductivity. Often, life’s demands leave us exhausted and frustrated, especially when our efforts do not immediately bear fruit. Yet the promise of God remains sure: those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall run and not grow weary. Waiting is therefore not passive,it is an active posture of faith, trust, and surrender that positions us for God’s empowerment.
Pst. Langat emphasized that God is ready and willing to strengthen those who come to Him with willing hearts. She highlighted key important points;
1. Waiting on the Lord
2. Embracing Repentance
3. Walking in Obedience to God’s Word
She concluded with a powerful reminder that true revival is found in Jesus Christ. It is through Him that we receive the strength to overcome weariness and the courage to say no to ungodliness. When Christ renews us, we are empowered to live purposefully and reflect His light in our daily lives.
